I soon arrived in Bruma, and I looked for my mother. I asked a local guard where my mother was. It was sad news; she had died in a robbery. I cried a bit, and looked for a place to stay. I went to the local bar named Olav's Tack And Tap. I met my old friend Olav there; he greeted me with a smile. "So, how's it been in Imperial? Found any good men there?" Olav asked. "Not really. I heard my mother died. What happened?" I replied. "Well, she was just resting when a robber all the way from the Imperial Waterfront took your mother's prized amulet. The thief got away, but the Guard got the identity. His name was Amusei." Olav explained. "I'm going back to Imperial; but not today. Can I stay for the night? I don't have any money." I said lying. "Sure, it must be hard for you, but I'll try helping you in any way I can. Go ahead and have the room." Olav kindly offered. "Thanks, I'll leave in the morning. Don't worry about my food, I have some rat meat here." I said. I slept in the room, and when I woke up, I was thinking about Renus. But I decided to look for the thief and lock him up in jail. I soon started my journey to Imperial; heading South. On my way, a bandit tried to take my money. He attacked me; but he wasn't strong enough to defeat me. I laughed at how inexperienced he was. I just injured him, and told him to live a better life. He looked at me angrily, while I was walking away. I soon encountered a Minotaur, but I easily took him out. He hit me once though. I had to heal myself. I also found lots of plants nearby. I made potions again. I made six healing potions. I soon arrived in the exit of Imperial City. I walked in and briskly walked to the Waterfront.

I asked around for someone named Amusei. I found out that he is an Argonian and is hiding in some abandoned house in the Waterfront. I looked for an abandoned house and went in. I found Amusei inside, and I called the Guard to come arrest Amusei. He came with me, and Amusei showed no resistance. He quickly gave up and said his side of the story. "The woman was not supposed to die! She slipped on some water I accidentally spilled and hit the wall; face first! It was an accident! Please forgive me!" Amusei shouted. He gave me back the amulet. The amulet of my mother seemed to give me a bonus to my Blade. I went to a store soon. I was looking for something to drink on my travels. I decided to sell my meat at Jensine's "Good As New" Merchandise in the Market District. She asked my if I knew anything about Thoronir, the owner of the Copious Coinpurse. She explained that she thought Thoronir was selling stolen goods. She said that there was a society of merchants called the Society Of Concerned Merchants. I decided to help them and talk to Thoronir about his goods. He wasn't saying anything I needed to know. I decided to wait out until his shop closes, and follow him after the shop closes. I followed him and finally, he stopped. He was meeting with a man named Agramir. I wasn't able to hear much, so I decided to go to Agramir's house when he's out. I waited for a bit, and went in. I looked for some sort of journal of record when Agramir had gotten his merchandise. I soon found a book showing records of dead bodies, and what items had been taken from them. I went out and I saw Agramir close. I ran away as fast as I could. I soon followed Agramir to a Masoleum. Inside, I saw Agramir and some other person with him. It seems he had been taking "merchandise" from dead bodies again. Agramir saw me, and told me that he was merely "returning" it. But because I already knew and saw what he was doing, he said that he had to kill me. I reached for my blade and slashed Agramir in the chest; pushing him to a nearby wall. His "guard" quickly engaged and was able to slash my shoulder, making it hard for me to attack. I was soon able to stab him in him chest, causing his death. Agramir stood up and tried to thrust his sword to my chest, but I was able to dodge it. I quickly retaliated and slashed his arm and leg, making him drop his sword and tremble to the ground. He soon bled to death. The penalty for grave robbing is death, so I guess justice was somehow served. I looked for some discriminating evidence of Agramir's crimes, and found his shovel, with fresh soil. I also took their swords, shields, armor, and gold to keep. I went out of the masoleum, and walked over to the Copious Coinpurse. I showed Thoronir the shovel, and he seemed extremely shocked over Agramir's crimes. I also showed the records and such, and promised to get rid of all of the merchandise, and to join the society. He thanked me by always agreeing to sell goods to him for a high price. He suggested that I go back and see Jensine again. I crossed the street to Jensine's "Good As New" Merchandise and talked to Jensine. She congratulated my on my bravery and gave me a reward of five hundred septims! I said thank you and left. I felt the need to fall asleep and I went over to the Abandoned House where I found Amusei. I slept there, and to think; it was free! I really need to rest, I'll write again tomorrow.

What a great sleep! I feel so rejuvinated! To think; I didn't sleep for two nights, straight! Ah, I feel so great an- (Writing illegible due to hand being pulled). What just happened? Some man in a dark hood named Lucien Lachance talked to me, and said that I had killed an innocent person; which finished an initiation I didn't even know I was doing. He had given me a knife, and a certain person to kill so I can join their order known as the Dark Brotherhood; ruled by the Black Hand. I was to kill a person named Rufio, and with a specific knife. I was told to go to sleep again afterwards so I may meet Lucien again. I was still deciding whether to do it, because I didn't want to kill innocent people! I decided to do it after a couple of minutes of thinking, all because of what kinds of rewards I would earn. Rufio was at the Inn Of Ill Omen, just South of Imperial City. I traveled there and talked to the shopkeeper about Rufio. He said that he was just downstairs, sleeping. I went down and sneaked to Rufio, and used the Blade Of Woe, and killed him in one hit. I felt a chill on my back, but I slept in Rufio's bed anyway. When I awoke, I saw Lucien watching over me. I quickly got up and talked to Lucien. He has told me that I have been accepted to the Dark Brotherhood for completing the initiation. He told me to go to the Abandoned House in Cheydinhal and go down the basement. Once I see the door emitting a red light, I should answer by saying, "Sanguine, My Brother." I entered what seemed to be a Sanctuary for other Dark Brotherhood members. A female Argonian named Ocheeva greeted me and told me all about the Dark Brotherhood. She told me to go to Vincent Valtieri and get my second contract. She also stated that by doing more and more contracts, I would advance through the ranks of the brotherhood and get more exclusive rewards. I went over to Vincent, and noticed he was paler than usual. I asked him why his skin was like that. He explained to me that he was a vampire, and all vampires look like this. But anyway, he gave me my next contract, which was in the Imperial Waterfront. I was to kill the Captain of the Pirate ship. I asked my other Brothers and Sisters on tips on how to kill him. One of them suggested that I hide in a nearby box and smuggle in and make my way to the Captain's Quarters. I felt nervous, for I started a life of crime and infamy.

I have arrived back in the waterfront and have snuck into the box already. As I'm writing this, I can feel myself moving and bumping the walls. I soon banged to the ground, and I waited for a minute. I opened the box very slowly, and crawled out. I creeped to the next room, and snuck past two talking pirates. I climbed up a ladder very swiftly and managed to get my to the Mid Deck. I snuck past one more pirate and climbed up another ladder. I soon saw the Captain sleeping soundly in his bed, and, quickly and silently, I slit his throat. I took the keys and septims from his body, while I heard two pirates checking up on the captain. I quickly snuck to the exit, and left, acting normally. I went over to The Feed Bag for refreshments and food, shortly after. What a meal! I ate an apple, two pieces of mutton, and drank a bottle of cheap wine. Though that wasn't enough to get me drunk, Haha! I went over to The Tiber Septim Hotel and slept for the night. In the morning, I started to walk back to Cheydinhal for my reward. On the way, I saw a bandit wearing a Mithril set for me to take! I dropped the rest of my armor and wore my new Mithril items. I also found repair hammers, which could be used to repair and fix broken armors. Nothing else happened on the way to Cheydinhal, just a couple of wolves. When I entered the Sanctuary again, Vincent was eagerly waiting for me in his room. When he heard the news that I have killed the Captain, he gave my reward and gave me my next contract. The next contract was to kill a man named Baenlin in Bruma. He has a bodyguard named Gromm, which might make the contract harder to do. The payer said that I would have bonus pay if I killed Baenlin in a specific way. I was to kill Baenlin with his stuffed Minotaur head, when he was reading in his special chair. I would loosen the fastenings and make it fall and swiftly make my escape, avoiding Gromm. It seemed hard, but I went on to Bruma.

It's eleven in the morning when I arrived in Bruma. Still as cold as ever. I had to wait until dark to make my entrance quietly into Baenlin's house. I just lingered around Bruma, talking to beggars and practicing my magic. I also got a rumor that a vampire hunter named Raynil Dralas recently killing a vampire named Brandon Lirrian. I wanted to investigate about what happened, but do I'll do it after the contract. Well, evening came, it was already ten in the evening, so I decided to sneak in already. I saw Baenlin reading at his special chair, under his stuffed Minotaur Head. Gromm was watching over him, giving me a good chance to sneak upstairs and loosen the fastenings. I crawled my way up slowly, and opened a door in the wall, where I saw the fastenings on the wall. I closed the door in the wall, and walked up to the fastenings. I slowly loosened them and made the stuffed head fall on him, making it look like an accident. I snuck out of the house and made my way out. I decided that I will claim my reward and my bonus later. I want to investigate that 'Vampire Hunter'. I went over to Bradon Lirrian's house, and saw Bradon's wife, and the guard captain, Carrius Runellius. Carrius confronted me, asking why I was here. "What are you doing here? This place is off-limits." I replied, "I want to investigate more about this case. It seems very unlikely that this man was readily accused as a vampire hunter." "But all of the evidence was here already. We have all rights to arrest Bradon, but he is deceased." "Let me investigate, and I will prove that there is more to Raynil than he seems." "Okay. I will let you investigate, but consult me immediately if you find any shocking evidence." I agreed and walked over to Bradon's wife, Erline Lirrian. Erline insisted that Bradon was not a vampire, and he was only seen around at night because his work starts in the night. (From my gaming, I'm a vampire and I'm always outside even during day.) She told me to ask around Olav's Tack and Tap, and see if Olav has anything to say about the crime. I left the house and ran over to Olav's Tack and Tap. I saw Gromm there, mourning Baenlin's death, drinking all night. I didn't feel sad for him, for I was just doing my job. Olav told me that he had a bad feeling about Raynil as well, and gave me Raynil's Room Key, so I can investigate further. I entered Raynil's room, and noticing everything was of the ordinary. I checked in all of the drawers, cupboards, and lecterns. Yet, I found nothing. As I was about to leave, I saw a Journal behind a drawer. It was hidden, and contained shocking evidence that Bradon, Raynil and another man named Gelebourne had been in a brotherhood, and found great treasures. Once they had found a great treasure, that was when Bradon found Erline, and gave up the brotherhood. Bradon took the last treasure and kept it safe, inside a cave. It also stated that it took three keys to open the chest, and that each of them had a key. Bradon had the amulet enchanted, and to open with a secret word. I immediately ran back to Bradon's house, and showed the journal to Carrius. Carrius read it and told me that Bradon had killed another alleged vampire named Gelebourne in Skingrad. He sent his scouts to look for nearby caves that matched the description near Bruma. He told me to wait at Olav's Tack and Tap, and he'll meet me there. After about an hour, I saw Carrius, looking worried. He said that his scouts found Boreal Stone Cave, the closest cave to Bruma, matching Gelebourne's descriptions. He told me to confront him, but he can't ask guards to come with me, because Raynil might escape if he saw the guards. I went out through the gates, and set foot for Boreal Stone Cave. I entered the cave, intercepting Raynil. Raynil said, "I have been expecting you. I have heard of you and your attempts to prove that I am not a vampire hunter. Once I went back to my room, I saw Gelebourne's journal, gone. I knew it was you because rumors were spreading around that someone was trying to stop me. Well, now that you know my secret, you won't leave this cave." Raynil quickly lunged his sword at me, but I quickly dodged. I was able to slash his shoulder, making him drop his shield. Recovering from my slash, he slashed my knee, making me drop. Raynil laughed and tried to decapitate my head, but I was able to kick his leg, making him fall to the ground. I stabbed his chest, and blood splashed everywhere around the walls. The water in the cave soon turned red, as I was prepared to rest, I saw Raynil lunging his sword at my chest. He was able to hit me, breaking my chainmail cuirass. I had not felt this much pain before. It felt so bad, but I was able to slash his chest, making him bleed to death. I took the three keys, and opened the chest. I found an Old Amulet there, and limped my way back to Bradon's house. I talked to Erline, and she set me down on a bed and treated my wounds. She told me that Bradon told her the secret password that transforms the amulet into it's true form. She stood up and said, "Brotherhood". It transformed the amulet into something called the Phylactery Of Litheness, which increases my speed. She wanted me to have it, for all the help I had given. After that, I left for Cheydinhal for my rewards. That's all for today...

Chapter Three: On Our Own
Baurus ran into the room. He had searched Uriel's body for anything that was valuable, and found the Amulet Of Kings. Baurus took it and told us to go to Jauffre, at the Weynon Priory. He explained that Uriel had another son, aside from all the others that were assassinated. There was still hope for the Empire. We can still live to see another day, ruled by a good and wise man. He gave us a key to exit the sewers, he said he could not go with us, for he was to protect Uriel's body from any more assassins until more guards came up. Baurus took the katana that the Argonian had. He gave him a steel shortsword, just like mine. He also asked us what birthsign we were. He asked me first. I said that I was born under the birthsign of The Thief, because I was fast and could sneak, and had some good luck. He also asked us what class we were. I said that I am not any of those classes, because I had a different style of combat, yet have not developed much in it. I had my Agility and Speed as my favored attributes. My favored classes were Blade, Light Armor, Illusion, Conjuration, Sneak, Armorer, and Block. I called myself a Chameleon. The Argonian introduced himself to me, his name was Renus'Tah Relt. Renus told me that after we leave the sewers, we will separate; to hone our skills. After one year, we will meet again at these very sewers, ready to search for the last heir to the throne. I agreed, because I know that we will be stronger, as our enemies get stronger as well.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Baurus told us to leave before the assassins know that we have the Amulet Of Kings. We ran as fast as we could, and saw the exit. We used the key that Baurus gave us, and started our journey through the sewers! There was the smell of rats, goblins and mudcrabs in the air. Renus told me to gather my courage and fight to the exit. In a nearby crate, I saw food that could heal us and restore our strength. I brewed up a potion that cured me of that disease, the one that the rat gave me. I also made four healing potions, to heal our wounds after battle. Renus had found some plants that can make good poisons. I made a poison that paralyzes for a few seconds. We climbed down a ladder, and we were in the Imperial Sewers. I saw around four mudcrabs under us, and so I jumped down into a shadowy area, and killed two of them. The other two saw me and moved slowly to me, while Renus broke their shells with an elbow bash; killing them. Taking their meat, I brew up another potion. I made a healing potion again. We moved on further, and found ourselves cornered by two Goblin Skirmishers and a Goblin Shaman. I reached into my backpack and took the Goblin Shaman Staff and blasted them to death. One Skirmisher was slain by Renus, because I saw a legless Skirmisher at the corner of my eye. The Shaman summoned a Skeleton Hero to fight us, but it was futile! We killed it faster than how I killed them with my staff! We slept for about two hours when we heard very loud shrieking close to us.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The shrieking soon stopped, and we calmed down and went back to sleep. We woke up soon after, and investigated what happened. We walked very slow, and saw a small encampment of bandits, and blood on the walls. We saw corpses of goblins going downstream with the sewer water. The smell of blood filled the air. We saw around three bandits there, and they killed a total of seven goblins. They are strong, so how do we advance? I'll tell you how. We lured one at a time by making noise on our side. Then, we hid behind walls and struck when him or her had his or her guard down. The first one screamed, so our plan was ruined. Even if one was down, it was still a tough fight against two of them. We took the spoils from our enemies. I found a Chainmail Cuirass, Helmet, Boots, Gauntlets, and Greaves. I also found an Elven Longsword! My lucky day! My armor and weapons just got stronger! I let go of the rest of my old armor. Renus found a Dwarven set from a bandit; and a Dwarven Longsword. We also found five thousand septims! We split it up, and now I had a total of 2,817 septims with me, while Renus only had 2,500 septims! Ha! We soon saw the door to the exit at the end. We opened the door, and saw sunlight once more.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was so sad. My newfound friend has to leave me already? We said our goodbyes, and parted ways. I was so scared. I was all alone, while I saw Renus in the distance. We waved our hands one last time, before the year started. I bit my lips, because of so much fright and nervousness. I started walking in a random direction, and in around three hours later, I had slain about fifteen wolves, and just kept on walking. I heard some noise a few meters away. I heard a warrior scream, "For the Emperor!" I ran on ahead and helped the man, and to my surprise, I saw Renus fighting three minotaurs! I immediately helped him and used some special power I felt within me! I had conjured a Dremora Markynaz! Even though I was not sure how I did it, I just went on and kept on fighting. I fought with much strength! I was even able to stagger a minotaur! I just saved Renus! My Markynaz disappeared, and Renus and I parted once more. I was headed North, to Bruma, while Renus was headed East, to Cheydinhal to his home town. Renus had come to Imperial City because he needed to run some errands for his friend. It seems that his 'friend' put him in a trap, because the Watch mistook him as the theif of ten thousand septims worth of Ebony Warhammers. I was headed to Bruma, to go see my mother. I wanted to see her again after five years. Right now, I am going to sleep in my bedroll, in a bandit camp I just cleared. There was only one of them, the armor was weak, but he had two hundred septims with him. Good night, for now.

Chapter Two: Time For Some Real Combat
Looking at the passage, I gather my courage and go into the passage. I stuff the septims into my backpack, and took a deep breath. I saw a dead rat on the floor, thinking that other prisoner killed it. I slowly approached it, and another rat leaped to my face! I slashed it in half with tremendous strength I didn't know I had. I had taken it's meat and a couple septims from it. I cleaned my blade and found a chest, that seemed to be unmoved for about ten years. I opened the chest and I found over two hundred septims! I also found a torch, and lit it up so I can see better. There was also a small shield there, that I picked up for some protection. I still didn't have any armor for me. I was still weak, but not defenseless. I ran into a door. I saw two more rats, and I decided to sneak up on them and land a hit. I killed them both, got their meat and cooked it on a fire. I ate one of the meat to replenish my energies. I might have gotten a disease from one of the rats, because I felt a bit fatigued. I look in a nearby crate and found a bedroll to sleep in. I crawled in, and fell asleep.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I heard shrieks at another side of the passage. It sounded evil and vile. I snuck over there, and saw rats dying to a zombie inside the cave. It was a horrid creature. I engaged in battle with it, and cut off it's head. Though it was still walking! I stabbed it in it's chest, and the blood spattered to my arm and face. I wiped my face and saw the zombie, lifeless once more. I took the mort flesh from it, and the rat meat. I moved on, almost forgetting my bedroll there. I took it, and moved on. I saw a skeleton of someone, and a leather set of armor. It had a cuirass, helmet, gauntlets, greaves, and boots. I moved into a more cave-like section of the passage. I saw my first goblin, and I knew it would attack me on sight. I snuck up and thrust my sword right through his back, instantly paralyzing him. His spinal cord had broken, and I finished him of with another cut to the chest. He had his own private working space, with a Mortar and Pestle. It seems he was quite the alchemist. I mixed up the rat meat and mort flesh together and made my own poison. That was when I discovered the possibilities of alchemy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had made only my first poison, but I was overjoyed. I moved on further into the cave, and applied my poison to my steel shortsword. I snuck up to another goblin and sliced his head right off! I applied another bottle, but I only had one left. I killed a second goblin, but I saw another one in the distance. He looked more powerful, and he had a strong staff with a goblin's head on top of it. It may have been a horrid sight, but I still went on. I slashed him and he got knocked back into a pit with two rats inside. I thought they would kill him for sure! Instead, he chanted some words and made the rats fight FOR him!Lolz, EPIC FAIL!!! I fought with all my heart, and finally slashed his arm off, making him fall dead to the floor. I took the fifteen septims he carried, and took his staff. I also roasted the rat meat I found. I moved on, and I got back to the original pathway (I mean, not the catacomb-like area). I saw the emperor and the other guards with him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I ran there and Uriel suggested that I come with them to in the escape. The guards said had to agree, and introduced themselves to me. Glenroy was severly injured, for his right shoulder was bleeding and blood from his arm was seeping down his armor. His sword was covered in blood and scratches. He looked like he wanted to die. The other guard's name was Baurus. He seemed like a nicer fellow then Glenroy, he greeted me with a smile. He was a very skilled swordsman, and barely had any scratches. I heard a scream from above, and I saw an Argonian, that looked like the man in the other cell next to me. He had been stuck in an area I had passed. He followed us into the exit, and we fought more of those assassins. Glenroy had led us to a door, but was locked. He realized it was a trap and led Uriel to safety. The Argonian followed with me to the emperor, and protected him with his life. When I looked back, I saw Glenroy get stabbed right in the heart by an assassin. His blood spattered everywhere, and the assassins laughing. Baurus was very skilled and slew all of them. But it was too late. Glenroy had died. Uriel confronted us and told the Argonian to "Close shut the jaws of Oblivion" or something. Uriel told me to follow him, and finish the quest if he perished in his progress. I was shocked when a hidden entrance suddenly opened and an assassin killed Uriel. The Argonian and I killed the assassin as soon as we could. It was just too late. Uriel had died. Baurus started to run towards us to see what had happened.

Chapter One: A Not-So Simple Day
This was recovered in the Great Khajiit's body. It shows her whole life ever since she had gotten hold of a journal she found on the ground.
I am so lucky I have found this journal! What if I became a hero and someone found it? Well, it's about time for me to sleep, so I'll write again tomorrow. I sleep in my bedroll, when I had been woken up by a sudden arrest of an evil Dunmer who was accused of stealing over five hundred septims. He tried fighting back and summoned his Ancestor Ghost, which killed one of the Imperial Watch guards. What am I to do? I am just a weak beggar, with no combat skills at all! I ran there and helped the guard, accidentally missing the Dunmer's face, and hitting the Imperial Watch's nose! I did continue, but I made sure I did not cause any further harm to the Watch. I pushed the Dunmer down, and the Watch stabbed his sword right through his stomach. Though bleeding, the Dunmer was still alive. As for the Watch, he called my attention, and charged me of assault. What would I do? I don't have forty septims. So I just turned myself in, and gave the Dunmer some first aid, so he can stay alive for his punishment.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I followed the Watch to the jail, and threw me into a cell next to this other prisoner. I snuck this journal past the guards in an uncomfortable place. In my underwear... Also, I had found a backpack on the way to the jail and snuck it with the journal. I watched the moonlight all evening, for I could not sleep because I still had an adrenaline rush from the fight. Drinking some water, I hear footsteps coming. I saw a man with very nice robes and clothing, followed by three other Guards with armor I have never seen before. The man with the nice clothing walked up to the cell next to me, while the guards unlocked the door. The man was actually the emperor, Uriel Septim VII!! I could not believe my eyes, as to see the emperor! Uriel walked into the cell and talked to the man in the other cell. While a guard named Renualt walked up to the cell across the cell next to me, and told the man inside to keep quiet. A guard named Glenroy told the man in the cell next to me to stay next to the window. I didn't see what happened next, but I just heard rocks moving around and more footsteps. I climbed up to the window at the top of my cell, and I saw the man in the cell next to me gone! I also saw a passage, to somewhere. I grabbed a knife from my table and hopelessly tried to pick the lock on my cell door. The other man that Renualt scolded whispered, "You're a Khajiit right? You'll die here. You won't have anywhere to go now." I looked around in my whole cell, and I found a lockpick. I used it to open the door in my cell and ran to the passage. As I looked back, I saw the man that was teasing me. His name was Valen Dreth, and he looked angrily at me, as I just grinned back.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As I followed the passage, I saw the body of Renualt on the floor, next to two men that were wearing red robes. I saw a steel shortsword at one corner of the room. I grabbed it, and I tried to take Renualt's armor. I just couldn't take it, because my mind told me not to take it. Instead, I took the one hundred septims that Renualt carried. I wonder what lies next, for I see a passage to the right, that looks dangerous.
